At APIA Fishers, Pedro Goenaga concentrates his activity on improving Corporate Governance in family or listed companies and co-investing with Private Equity companies through the creation of value as a member of their Board of Directors or Advisors or "Operating Partner" .

Additionally and since January 1, 2021, Pedro Goenaga has been appointed Senior Advisor of Russell Reynolds. In this position, he will continue to collaborate with the head for the Americas, Constantine Alexandrakis in the development of the RRA business in Latam, as well as with the global head of all sectors and practices, Nils Hopmann, to expand the Family Business practice, in line with your most recent activity.

Previous experience

"Since 1998 I have had the opportunity to lead RRA operations in Spain (2003-2013), be a member of the World Executive Committee (2013-2016), lead Brazil (2016-2019), as well as participate in different Committees, sectors and internships, among which I would highlight the Appointments Committee (2010-2013 / 2016-2020), the Operations Committees of Europe (2003-2013) or America (2016-2019), as well as opening the offices in Dubai or Miami; or currently lead the Family Business practice at a global level ". He also launched the European practice of Leisure & Hospitality in the early 2000s.

Before RRA, Pedro worked four years as CEO of Gespalets (GKN Group) and was also a member of its Board. During his tenure, he multiplied by 10 the initial investment of the shareholders. Previously, he was director of investments at Axis (PE of BBVA). His professional career began as a strategy consultant at Arthur D Little and a Risk Analyst at Continental Bank

Throughout his career, he has been a member of 18 different boards of directors such as Maninvest, SOS, Esteban Espuña, Acuinova, EdP, Gespalets, Animatica, Trefinos, Vega Mayor (Florette) Corre-Corre etc ... with special focus on the FMCG and Industry sector.

Pedro has a degree in Business Studies from the University of Deusto, as well as an MBA from IESE Business School, including a semester at The Wharton Business School. Pedro communicates in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French
